2025 Salary Thresholds for Highly Skilled Migrants and Blue Card Holders – Provisional Update
Starting 1 January 2025, new provisional salary thresholds for highly skilled migrants and European Blue Card holders will apply. As an employer, staying updated on these thresholds is crucial for compliance and attracting top international talent.

Here are the new monthly gross thresholds (excluding the 8% holiday allowance):
Highly skilled migrants (30+ years): €5,688
Highly skilled migrants (under 30): €4,171
Highly skilled migrants (after orientation year): €2,989
European Blue Card holders: €5,688
European Blue Card holders (within three years after graduation): €4,551
These thresholds apply to all applications submitted on or after 1 January 2025.
